ONE STEP

You are invited to join us for our annual pilgrimage walk. The One Step walk is a time to enjoy and affirm our connection with the natural world, to reflect on our busy lives and enjoy the companionship of like-minded folks.

This year we are doing 6 x 7 km. walks along the beautiful and relatively easy K and P Trail that runs from Lanark to renfrew. We will go from near Flower Station all the way to Akashaloka, outside Renfrew. Check the map for details.

Each day there is a walk in the morning and in the afternoon. Walkers can join either each day. There will be a drive back to the starting point to retrieve cars. There will be plenty of time between stages for your own lunch. All participants are invited to share in a potluck supper, after our return to Akashaloka on Day 3. All walkers are welcome. Polite leashed dogs are welcome. We ask that wheeled vehicles (excluding wheelchairs) not join this walk. There are no washrooms or water taps along the route.

At the end of the 6th stage, around 3.30 on Sunday, we will return to Akashaloka for a potluck meal. You can leave your contribution at the house ahead of time if you wish. All walkers and friends of the Sangha are welcome to join us.
